Nice vintage footage of Boeing planes dropping bombs on Germany and Japan during World War II. The focus of all of these films is on the aircraft themselves and not on the troops on the ground or the history of the wary. Instead you get a good geeks eye view of the planes the Air Force used during the war and great explanations of what made the planes so powerful. The quality of the clips was an eyeopener when compared to the stuff you see on The History Channel.

Soon after America,s entry into World War II, Boeing developed a revolutionary four-engine heavy bomber to meet military specifications, the B-17, which eventually became known as the Flying Fortress. It was to be the weapon which the USAAF relied heavily on to press forward with its strategy of daylight, high altitude, and precision bombing unescorted, heavily armed bombers. The more powerful B-29s, better known as the Super Fortresses, later overshadowed the B-17s especially in the Pacific sector.Witness a first-hand account of how the mighty B-17 Flying Fortress and the amazing B-29 Super fortress gave the American army air force an undeniable edge over the enemy and brought an end to a bloody six-year war by pounding the enemy into submission. This product is manufactured on demand using DVD-R recordable media.
