Average Reviews:
(More customer reviews)I was expecting a 70 minute biographical sketch on Ernie Pyle, and wouldn't have been disappioned at all. Instead, I got what made him tick, along with insight from other WWII correspondents, & those who served in the war. This is a terrific tribute to anyone who served in the war, and I cannot state enough how highly I recommend it.

G.I. Joe: Ernie Pyle celebrates the life of the nations most beloved war correspondent.Through dramatic re-enactments, still photos, and Pyles own moving words, a common thread of reality is woven into the fabric of the everyday mans perspective.Interviews with Gerald Ford, Walter Kronkite and Andy Rooney pay tribute to a man who painted a true portrait of war from the frontline.
