I needed a joystick, nothing fancy just something simple. I bought one that was a little too simple for about $16. I needed ANOTHER one. I found this Logitech Attack 3 one, for also $16. The caliber of the LA3 in quality and use is amazing. This joystick is fantastic. The stick itself is spring loaded but feels like it's gliding. The buttons and trigger are all on hair touches making for easy presses. And the throttle is a gliding scroll button that's very smooth and never leaves where you put it. One hand works the stick while the other works the bottom buttons and throttle. If you need a joy stick for some simple flying and dog fighting, (i.e. Star Wars Galaxies: Jump to Lightspeed) then the Logitech Attack 3 is perfect for you. Low price that delivers way more than it should. If you're a "sim" kind of guy then no, don't get this because it's not a sim stick, it's a joy stick, and it will bring you joy.

Conflict: Desert Storm Review

This game really makes you feel like your ahead of a special forces team. Great training program to get you started with the (at first) difficult commands. Once you get the hang of it's amazing fun. The game does not last very long but you get into some fun challenges. And those specially located tanks are always annoying but very reliveing once you blow them up.
The thing I liked most about this game is your ability to heal a member when their down. You don't have all the time in the world to do so but it makes the level progression go back and forth.
Co-Op features are the real heart of this, getting four people to move about in these levels all working together is just great.
Replay value is not the highest but is always worth it, I highly recommend this game.

Covert missions take you through hostile environments where only your expertise in stealth, tactics, and firepower will ensure the success and safety of your men. Your missions are as unpredictable as they are dangerous: from vital scud-hunting missions deep within enemy territory to highly secretive rescue and assassination operations in Baghdad itself.

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat Review

Battlefield 2 Modern Combat

Don't hesitate to purchase this game! I've never gotten into a multiplayer game on the PS2 before. Usually, I'm a PC player. However, I've been hooked on Battlefield 2 for the PS2 since I got a demo disk back in June.
Admittedly, I have purchased the PC version, but I've been waiting and waiting for the PS2 version. Why? The controls and movements feel so much more realistic and intuitive with a PS2 controller. At the PC, I felt very disconnected from the play. And for an aging game system, the PS2 gives excellent graphics on this title.
PROS:
- online play is awesome, and with PS2 (unlike Xbox) it's free.
- you can taste the dirt, this game is so real. Even for a beginning player, you will start to learn military tactics and fighting.
- headset and voice communications are clear
- well-designed maps give the player true variety. Buildings and hiding nooks are well placed and thought out. This makes sniping and covert ops even more enjoyable.
- weapons are all great, and each unit is nicely balanced.
CONS:
- if you played the demo, you'll surely mourn the loss of extra C4 ammo (player only has 4 of them now), the grenade launcher has been toned down, and the rocket launcher seems stronger. These changes aren't enough to throw the game out of balance, but people are grumbling.
- game still needs some balancing issues with vehicles and aircraft. A talented player can use the vehicles to overwhelm a newbie team.
- slow load time. However, this is not specific to Battlefield. It's an aging system, and all games load slowly.
