(but skip the clip-shows on the "Trackers" disk and save them till last)
1. The Pluto Campaign (episodes 1-2-4-3-5)
[episodes 3 and 4 deliberately switched around, disk plays in "correct" order]
2. The Hydora Campaign (episodes 6-7-8-9-10)
3. The Tophet Campaign (episodes 11-12-13-14-15)
4. The Tesca Campaign (episodes 16-17-18-19-20)
[also known as the Tesca Nemerosa campaign]
5. The Zephyr Campaign (episodes 21-22-23-24-25)
[also known as the Ice Asteroid campaign]
6. The Klendathu Campaign (episodes 26-27-28-29-30)
7. Trackers (episode 31; clip-shows 1 thru 4)
8. The Homefront Campaign (episodes 32-34-35-36-37)
[there IS NO EPISODE 33! 37 is the "final" episode even though it's a cliffhanger]

(More customer reviews)I never read the comic series of All-Star Superman so I didn't no anything about it except what I saw in the trailers. I saw Public Enemies and Apocalypse, the Superman/Batman team-ups, they were very good. The mood and the action in the story were driven by emotion and that was something I've never seen in a superhero story before, it was true to the character of who Superman is in my mind. It's heart felt, its funny, it has action and romance, its one of the best works from Dewayne McDuffie who recently deceased. The best Superman story I have ever seen a must for your collection.

Star Wars Animated Adventures - Droids (The Pirates and the Prince / Treasures of the Hidden Planet) (1997) Review

(More customer reviews)With shows like Clone Wars now entertaining young audiences, one has to wonder if they should bother showing thier children anything that belongs in the original trilogy universe in terms of spin-offs, there was never a "definitive" animated series featuring Luke Skywalker, R2-D2, Han Solo, etc, however, this show featured the two Droids.
"Droids" is NOT set AFTER the original trilogy, it's set BEFORE it, a series of five episode arcs featured R2-D2 and 3-PO having different adventures with a different matser with each new arc, it was something that was rare in shows of that decade, and it kep the premise fresh...the premise of the two droids going through various comedy acts, whilst being pursued by The Empire.
I would recommend a BOX SET, but NOT this DVD, it only has two horribly-spliced together episodes on it, hardly anything that would represent this series fairly to a cyncial or cautious viewer, of course there's enough humour in it to keep your children happy
And it's a known fact, those who tell people in an immatue fashion to "get a life", usually only say that when they, themselves, have made a mess of thier own.

Star Wars: The Clone Wars (2008) Review

(More customer reviews)The people who slammed this kids' film were, guess what? bitter adult Star Wars fans who have refused to recognize the saga has moved onto the next generation. This is not a continuation of the live-action films, it is a computer animated interpretation of Tartakovsky's Clone Wars animated series, hence the super stylized faces and character designs. It's a great way to get young children, like my nephew who has never seen a Star Wars movie interested in the idea. Face it people, this is a kids' show and always will be. If you want the darker, more realistic side of the saga, wait for the live-action TV series to come. Relax, and enjoy the lighter side of Star Wars once in a while.
